i've been thinking pretty seriously about getting a hurdy gurdy. been considering doing a kit. i have built a guitar, a mandolin, and a banjo from scratch, and did a short apprenticeship in instrument repair, so i don't need a beginner kit.

anyone have any experience with someone doing high quality hurdy gurdy kits?
